Introducing......

I am happy to announce the newest member of
The Nordfelt family....

Welcome (nameless Kitty).

He came with the name Simba,
I want to call him Napoleon.
Josh wont agree until he comes home.

This fur-ball has been keeping me company while Josh has been away.
He is super cuddly yet VERY playful.

I love this little dude!

Manti Pageant & Temple

Last weekend we went to the Manti Pageant with my family.

This was my first time at the Pageant & Josh's second.

The Pageant was an amazing experience.

Because we go to a different temple each month

We decided to attend the Manti temple.

As you can see from the above pictures,
Josh forgot his dress clothes.
So yes, he did wear jeans. :)

This temple was absolutely gorgeous!!
My parents were married here 33 years ago.
It was incredible to be here with my parents & my husband.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The month of July is going to be crazy!

Josh has been at his new job for a month now and loves it.

He leaves for New York this week for a few weeks.

When he gets home we close on our house and have to be moved out by the 31st.

We are excited to start this new adventure in our life.

XOXO

Vacation Days 4-6

We went on a nice hike to the back side of Quail Creek Reservoir.

We took a refreshing swim.

We drove through Santa Clara and visited Jacob Hamblin's house.

We took a hike up to Anasazi (AKA: the Jaredites) hieroglyphs.

Our friends Kelly & Keena Farmer came down for the rest of the weekend.
We went to a Mongolian BBQ restaurant.
The cooks circle the food around this oven. It was incredible food!

On Saturday we tried to find a waterfall.
The waterfall was no longer in action
but we had a great hike.
The boys enjoyed some rock climbing.

Saturday night we went golfing.

This was my first time golfing.... and I loved it!!!

This was such a great vacation. It was wonderful to be away for a week to relax and spend
quality time with each other.

Vacation days: 1-3

We started our week-long vacation in Las Vegas.

Days 1 & 2

Josh tried his hand at the slot machine.
He lost a buck.

We also tried some yummy fried Twinkies and Oreos

Day 3:
Before leaving Vegas we decided to attend a session at the
Las Vegas temple.
This temple was absolutely beautiful.

For dinner Josh really wanted tv dinners.

So we ate tv dinners with a frozen pie while we watched HGTV.

The one with Graduation

Yesterday Joshua Graduated!!!!

He is a proud owner of a
Bachelor of Science, Business Management degree
from Westminster College.

Josh took only 3 years to graduate.
He took 17+ credit hours every semester
AND
worked full time at Zion's Bank.

I am so proud of him!

Josh's last day at Zion's was last Wednesday.
Beginning June 10th he will be working for
a big financial firm downtown.

He is very excited for this change, but nervous to have a "Big boy job".

I know he will do awesome!

Coach Joshua

Josh got to coach a little soccer team.

It made me really excited for the future when he will coach our kids.

The kids loved him (as you can see).

Monticello & Moab

The temple for the month of May was:

This temple was adorable! It was so small.
We lowered the average age by about 40.
The old people in the session were the cutest.

Every temple we go to,
we try to do something in that city that we wouldn't normally do.

So..... we headed to Moab!!!

Now join me for
PICTURE OVERLOAD!

We visited the "Hole N' the Rock" museum.
For those of you who don't know, this was a house!
Look it up, pretty cool.

We decided to go on a 10 miler that starts at the
Landscape arch.
I was scared to death!
But the views were incredible!

We camped, with our own tent :)

Moab was a wonderful place to be!
