The One with the "6"s

Monday we celebrated our 

6 month anniversary.

I decided for a date we should focus on the

number 6!

So we headed out to find a place to eat with the number 6.

We came across police officers arresting a man.

We watched them pull out their guns and everything

Pretty cool! 

 We ended up at McDonald's

Address: 610 2600 S.

 We then went home and watched

"With Six You Get Eggroll"

Basically this is my favorite Doris Day movie

The one with the Temple

One of Josh and I's goals for this year 

is to visit every operating temple in Utah.

This past weekend we packed our bags

and headed to sunny St. George.

 On Saturday we went to the temple.

Of course it was gorgeous.

We then headed to Vegas for the

rest of the day.

 On our walk to the stratosphere we found
this cute little chapel. (same one as the one on Friends?)

 We rode the New York, New York roller coaster

and did the huge rocket on the Stratosphere.

Everyone on the strip had huge mugs full of alcohol.

So we had to get our choice of drink while on the strip.

Sunday we did some hiking:

This was our first road trip.

We had a wonderful time.

Going on a road trip with

your best friend is the best thing ever!

The one with the Presents

So this post is a little overdue...

It's all about Christmas.

Josh wanted to go on a Christmas date

and he wanted to make it a surprise.

He sat me down on the couch and gave me a present

in this present were his car keys.

The second present was dinner.

The third present he gave me was

a build a bear!!

We made Benny

Basically I sleep with him every night.

The last present was a movie and hot chocolate.

I feel that it was a very successful date!

Our first Christmas was glorious.

We woke up at 6 am to do our own Christmas.

Here are some of our presents:

The one with Thanksgiving

Our first Thanksgiving began at 9 am with the Turkey 5k.

 I knocked 5 minutes off of my time.

I am thankful for a healthy body!

 We then spent the afternoon with my family.

 I am grateful for my family!

I love these guys sooo much!

 We then went to Kamas for Josh's family.

Eating 2 meals was pretty brutal for me

but I am grateful for the delicious food we had.

We finished Thanksgiving as is turned into Black Friday!

YAY! My family LOVES black Friday. We live for it!

This was Joshua's first black Friday experience.

I am grateful for an incredible husband who loves me!!

The one with the Speech

So basically this is just a bragging post

about my incredibly smart husband!

He received the R. Harold Burton Scholarship.

This scholarship is awarded to 2 business majors in Utah.

Yup, basically my husband is the best!

We attended a scholarship lunch at Westminster.

We were at the table with the President of the school.

Pretty sure that was scary.

 

But the best part... 

Just watch :)

 Basically I love this boy

and I am so proud of him!!

The one with the Staycation

This weekend Josh and I needed a getaway.

We stayed Friday night in Park City.

 Saturday we went to the Utah game

Josh let me get a 64 oz Pibb!!

We had a great and relaxing weekend.

The one with the Costumes

 For Halloween Josh and I went as

couple missionaries.

 Josh carved us a pumpkin 

A for Amanda!

Just kidding it was A for Avengers.

 We started a new tradition:

Eat dinner outside with a fire

and watch the trick or treaters!

It was super fun!

All in all it was a great Halloween!
