The one with Thanksgiving

Our first Thanksgiving began at 9 am with the Turkey 5k.

 I knocked 5 minutes off of my time.

I am thankful for a healthy body!

 We then spent the afternoon with my family.

 I am grateful for my family!

I love these guys sooo much!

 We then went to Kamas for Josh's family.

Eating 2 meals was pretty brutal for me

but I am grateful for the delicious food we had.

We finished Thanksgiving as is turned into Black Friday!

YAY! My family LOVES black Friday. We live for it!

This was Joshua's first black Friday experience.

I am grateful for an incredible husband who loves me!!

The one with the Speech

So basically this is just a bragging post

about my incredibly smart husband!

He received the R. Harold Burton Scholarship.

This scholarship is awarded to 2 business majors in Utah.

Yup, basically my husband is the best!

We attended a scholarship lunch at Westminster.

We were at the table with the President of the school.

Pretty sure that was scary.

 

But the best part... 

Just watch :)

 Basically I love this boy

and I am so proud of him!!

The one with the Staycation

This weekend Josh and I needed a getaway.

We stayed Friday night in Park City.

 Saturday we went to the Utah game

Josh let me get a 64 oz Pibb!!

We had a great and relaxing weekend.

The one with the Costumes

 For Halloween Josh and I went as

couple missionaries.

 Josh carved us a pumpkin 

A for Amanda!

Just kidding it was A for Avengers.

 We started a new tradition:

Eat dinner outside with a fire

and watch the trick or treaters!

It was super fun!

All in all it was a great Halloween!

The one with the Sleepover

Yesterday I invited Josh to have a sleepover with me.

Sleepover? Don't I always have a sleepover?

Well technically yes I do.

but this sleepover was like the one you have when we were kids.

I made a bed on the living room floor.

We had lots of junk food

and popcorn.

 

We played card games.

 

 We read scary stories in the dark!

And then we fell asleep watching

You've Got Mail.

 

It was the best sleepover ever!

The one with the notes

Basically my husband is adorable!

I got home from work and on the door

was mini post-it notes saying I love you.

On each note was a reason why he loves me.

Yup, best husband ever!

The One with the Colors

We joined the "HAPPIEST 5K ON THE PLANET" today! ...The Color Run!












Here we are pre-race with our cool headbands and cool glasses. Completely white!








  

Throughout the race they have stations where they throw color on you. It got in our hair and our mouth and our nose.

At the end of the race the runners get together and

all throw our color dust at once. Immediately it 

became one big dust bowl, we couldn't see anyone

around us!

So AWESOME!!!

I WILL RUN FOR COLOR!

The One with the Wedding

We started our Eternal family on Saturday, August 25th.

The day was BEAUTIFUL! It was perfect weather, not too hot.

We were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.

All of our friends and family were there for us.

The night of our wedding: 

We stayed at the Phantom of the Opera room

at the Anniversary Inn.

It was a beautiful room with cheesecake and sparkling cider.

For our honeymoon we went on a cruise.

We ported in Progresso and Cozumel, Mexico.

In Progresso we just stayed at a nice beach resort.

 In Cozumel,

we did a high ropes adventure course and zipline.

 We also did some snorkeling!

Josh took some incredible pictures while we were on our cruise.

I couldn't believe the beautiful sunsets we got to see.
